SpencerMaurice is proud to provide financial support to grass-roots community social enterprises and charities. Together, we are working to deliver projects that are changing our communities for the better.
Our community partners

Rainbow Giving Australia (formerly known as The Aurora Group) raise funds and provide grants that empower grass roots Australian LGBTIQ+ community organisations to innovate and create new services.
SpencerMaurice provides financial support to Rainbow Giving Australia.
Since 2022, SpencerMaurice has partnered with Aurora to establish a targeted grant program for community organisations that deliver services to support Regional and Remote communities.
The grants are available for initiatives that support Aboriginal LGBTIQ+ people, CALD LGBTIQ+ communities, or Trans and Gender diverse people.

Qtopia Sydney is the largest Centre for Queer History and Culture in the world, spanning three sites. Qtopia exists to preserve, share and amplify the stories of Australia’s Queer community. It achieves this through exhibitions, performances, education, and storytelling.
SpencerMaurice provides financial support to enable their regional and rural community education programs.

The Sydney Heritage Fleet and Sydney Maritime Museum Trust maintain, restore, research, and operate a fleet of historic maritime vessels.
The Fleet has a large volunteer workforce which operates regular tourist cruises, as well as major program of vessel restoration and maintenance.
SpencerMaurice has provided pro bono in-kind support to the Fleet, to assist with their strategic and operational planning.

The Queensland Maritime Museum is a volunteer based charity based in Brisbane.
The museum has a large collection of historic vessels and artefacts. They focus on engaging with the community, through sharing heritage and culture.
SpencerMaurice has provided financial support to enable the digitisation of materials in their collection.

Established in 1978, the Australian Queer Archives (AQuA) is the pre-eminent academic research archive for Australia’s LGBTIQ community.
They collect, preserve, and celebrate material from the lives and experiences of LGBTIQ Australians.
The organisation is a volunteer run not-for-profit based in Melbourne.
SpencerMaurice has provided financial support to enable the digitisation of key material from the archive.
